TRESOC is a member of The REconomy Centre, a new resource supporting the development of the local economy in Totnes & Environs. It’s a ‘drop-in’ incubator, a workplace for start-ups, and a meeting place for community groups interested in supporting new economic models.
The Reconomy Centre is also home to the Local Economic Blueprint project, which identified how much opportunity exists to generate jobs and livelihoods within the local area. TRESOC features as the case study for the Renewables section. There is much untapped potential for relocalising the economy of Totnes and District. Maximising this potential creates new incomes, strengthens the local economy and secures the long term needs of future generations.
As a ‘drop-in’ incubator, the Reconomy Centre provides a nurturing work environment, that include access to support for your project, networking with peers, etc. TRESOC meets most Tuesday mornings at 10am, at 13, Leechwell Street, opposite the Lamb.
